Our Mission:
The mission of FI is to prepare students and professionals for practice in the cutting-edge field of forensic accounting.

Meeting the Need:
The widely-publicized accounting failures of the past decade have magnified the need for anti-fraud legislation, regulation and education. In response, the practice of forensic accounting has become the fastest-growing niche market in the CPA profession. This emerging discipline requires education and skills training beyond traditional offerings, a void that has been recognized by both the American Accounting Education (AAA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Value Added:
As the demand for entry-level professionals with formal education in forensic accounting continues to grow, FI’s offerings provide a competitive advantage for job placement. Furthermore, legislative mandates and public expectations now require enhanced knowledge and skills from accounting professionals.
